Sawiva gives you three powerful ways to find the auto parts you need — Quick Search, Advanced Search, and our AI Chatbot. This guide walks you through each method with real examples.

AI Chatbot — Ask for Parts in Plain English

The Sawiva AI Chatbot is the easiest and most conversational way to find parts. Simply describe what you need in your own words — just like texting a friend who knows cars.

⚡ When to use the Chatbot:

Use this when you're not sure where to start, prefer a conversational experience, or want to ask follow-up questions about a part (e.g. compatibility, alternatives).

How to open & use the Chatbot:

  1. Look for the chat bubble icon (💬) in the bottom-right corner of any page.
  2. Click it to open the chatbot panel.
  3. Type your question or request in plain English and press Send.
  4. The chatbot will respond with part suggestions, pricing information, or helpful guidance.
  5. You can continue the conversation to refine your search.

👤 How to Create an Account on Sawiva

Sawiva supports two types of accounts — Clients (buyers looking for parts) and Distributors (suppliers & sellers). This guide walks you through signing up for both.

🤔 Which account type do I need?

🛒 Client Account

  • You want to search and compare auto parts
  • You want to request quotes from suppliers
  • You are an individual or a business buyer

🏭 Distributor Account

  • You are a supplier, wholesaler, or retailer
  • You want to list and sell auto parts on Sawiva
  • You represent a company or business entity

Signing Up as a Client

A Client account is for anyone who wants to browse, compare, and buy auto parts on Sawiva. Registration is quick and free.

Steps to register as a Client:

  1. Go to sawiva.com/register or click Register in the top navigation bar.
  2. You will see two tabs — make sure you are on the "Client" tab.
  3. Fill in the registration form with the following details:

First Name * Your first name — e.g. John
Last Name * Your last name — e.g. Kamau
Country * Select your country from the dropdown list
Email Address * A valid email you have access to — e.g. john@email.com
Password * At least 6 characters, maximum 32 characters
Confirm Password * Re-enter the same password to confirm
Newsletter Sign-up Optional — check this box to receive updates and promotions from Sawiva

* Required fields

  1. Tick the Terms and Conditions checkbox to confirm you agree.
  2. Complete the reCAPTCHA verification (check the "I'm not a robot" box).
  3. Click the "Register" button to submit your account.

💡 Example: Jane Mwangi from Kenya — she fills in: First Name: Jane, Last Name: Mwangi, Country: Kenya, Email: jane.mwangi@email.com, and a secure password. She ticks the terms and clicks Register.

Signing Up as a Distributor

A Distributor account is for businesses that supply or sell auto parts. Distributors get access to a dedicated dashboard where they can upload their parts catalogue and manage their listings.

⚡ Important for Distributors:

Distributor accounts require approval by the Sawiva admin team before they are activated. After submitting your registration, please allow up to 2 business days for your account to be reviewed and approved. You will receive an email notification once approved.

Steps to register as a Distributor:

  1. Go to sawiva.com/register or click Register in the top navigation bar.
  2. Click on the "Distributor" tab on the registration page.
  3. Fill in the distributor registration form with your business details:

Telephone * Business phone number (9–13 digits, must be unique)
Email Address * Business email address — e.g. info@autopartskenya.com
Password * At least 6 characters, maximum 32 characters
Confirm Password * Re-enter the same password to confirm

Verifying Your Account

After submitting your registration, Sawiva sends a verification email to the address you provided. You must verify your email before you can log in.

How to verify your email:

  1. Check your inbox for an email from Sawiva (subject: something like "Verify Your Account").
  2. If you don't see it, check your Spam / Junk folder.
  3. Click the verification link inside the email.
  4. You will be redirected to Sawiva and shown a confirmation that your account is verified.
  5. You can now log in using your email and password at sawiva.com/login.

⚠️ Note for Distributors: Even after verifying your email, your Distributor account still needs to be approved by the Sawiva team. You will receive a separate email once your account has been reviewed and approved. Client accounts are activated immediately upon email verification.

What Happens After You Sign Up?

🛒 As a Client you can:

  • Search for auto parts by MPN or vehicle details
  • Compare prices across multiple distributors
  • Submit quote requests for specific parts
  • Track responses to your quote requests
  • Receive newsletters and market updates

🏭 As a Distributor you can:

  • Access your Distributor Dashboard
  • Upload and manage your parts catalogue
  • Set pricing and stock availability
  • Receive and respond to client quote requests
  • View performance reports and analytics
  • Publish blog posts and promotions

🤝 Having Trouble Signing Up?

If you experience any issues during registration — such as not receiving the verification email, a form error, or a question about your account type — our team is here to help.

Common issues: Verification email not received → check your spam folder. Password not accepted → ensure it is 6–32 characters. Email already taken → try logging in or use "Forgot Password" on the login page.

📋 How to Request a Quote on Sawiva

Can't find pricing for a part, or need a bulk order quote? Sawiva's Quote Request feature lets you submit your part requirements and our team — along with our network of distributors — will get back to you with the best available pricing.

💡 What is a Quote Request?

A quote request is how you tell Sawiva exactly what part you need and in what quantity. Once submitted, our team reviews your request and responds with pricing options from available distributors. You don't need to be logged in — just fill in the form and submit.

Two Ways to Request a Quote

You can request a quote for either a single part or multiple parts at once. Choose the right option for your situation:

🔩 Single Part Quote

  • You need pricing for one specific part
  • You have the part number (MPN)
  • You know the quantity you need
  • Fast and simple — fill in just 2 extra fields

📦 Multiple Parts Quote

  • You need pricing for several parts at once
  • You have a parts list (as a PDF, image, or spreadsheet)
  • Ideal for garages, workshops, and fleet managers
  • Upload your document and we handle the rest

Requesting a Quote for a Single Part

Go to sawiva.com/request_quote or click Request Quote in the navigation bar. Make sure "Single Part" is selected (it is selected by default).

Fill in the following fields:

First Name * Your first name
Last Name * Your last name
Email * Your email address — this is where we'll send the pricing response
Company Optional — your company or garage name if applicable
Part Type Select "Single Part"
MPN (Part Number) * The Manufacturer Part Number — e.g. 48810-30060
Quantity * How many units you need — e.g. 2
Additional Instructions Optional — any extra details (e.g. preferred brand, urgency, delivery location)

💡 Example: Peter Otieno needs 2 units of a stabilizer link for his Toyota Land Cruiser. He fills in his name, email peter@email.com, MPN: 48810-30060, Quantity: 2, and adds instructions: "Preferably genuine Toyota part. Need delivery to Nairobi CBD."

  1. Complete the reCAPTCHA (check "I'm not a robot").
  2. Click "Submit Quote".

Requesting a Quote for Multiple Parts

If you need pricing for several parts at once — for example, you have a full service list — select "Multiple Parts" to upload your parts document.

Steps:

  1. Go to sawiva.com/request_quote.
  2. Fill in your First Name, Last Name, Email, and optionally your Company name.
  3. Select "Multiple Parts" from the Part Type options.
  4. An upload area will appear — click it to select your file.
  5. Upload a document containing your parts list. Accepted formats:

📎 Accepted file types:

  • PDF — e.g. a printed quotation or parts order form
  • JPG / PNG — e.g. a photo of a handwritten parts list or existing quotation

Maximum file size: 2MB

  1. Add any Additional Instructions — for example: brand preferences, urgency, delivery location, or budget range.
  2. Complete the reCAPTCHA and click "Submit Quote".

💡 Tip for Multiple Parts: If you don't have a PDF, you can simply take a clear photo of your handwritten parts list with your phone and upload it as a JPG or PNG image. Make sure the part numbers are clearly legible in the image.

Requesting a Quote Directly from a Product Page

Found a specific part on Sawiva but there's no price listed yet? You can request a quote directly from the product detail page — the MPN will be pre-filled for you automatically.

Steps:

  1. Search for your part using Quick Search or Advanced Search.
  2. Click on the part to open its Product Detail page.
  3. Look for the "Request Quote" button on the product page.
  4. Click it — you will be taken to the Quote Request form with the MPN already filled in.
  5. Complete the remaining fields (your name, email, quantity, instructions) and submit.

⚡ Shortcut: This is the fastest way to get a quote for a specific part you've already found on Sawiva — no need to copy-paste the part number manually.

Requesting a Quote via the AI Chatbot

You can also request a quote conversationally using the Sawiva AI Chatbot — no forms to fill in. Just describe what you need in plain language.

How to do it:

  1. Click the chat bubble icon (💬) in the bottom-right corner of any page.
  2. Tell the chatbot you want to request a quote. For example:

What Happens After You Submit?

After clicking Submit Quote, here is what to expect:

Confirmation on screen

You will see a green success message: "Quote request has been received. We will get back to you as soon as possible."

Request reviewed by the Sawiva team

Our team receives your request and begins sourcing pricing from our distributor network.

Pricing response sent to your email

We will send pricing options directly to the email address you provided. Response times depend on part availability but are typically within 1–2 business days.

You choose & place your order

Review the quoted prices and proceed with the supplier that best suits your needs and budget.

⚡ Important: Make sure you enter a correct and accessible email address — this is the only way we can send you the pricing response. Check your spam or junk folder if you don't hear from us within 2 business days.
